Is this the time to finally get the Tate galleries membership?

miro exhibition in london at tate modern

If you went to New York on holiday and they had a Miro, a Picasso and a Damien Hirst exhibition on, would you go to see them?

If you would, now is the time to get the membership to the London Tate galleries.

You see over the next 12 months at either the Tate Modern or Tate Britain there will be a Miro, a Picasso and a Damien Hirst exhibition. In fact the Miro exhibition started a couple of weeks ago at the Tate Modern.

Many of us because we live in London don’t realise what we have right on our doorstep. Look how the rest of the world is going crazy about the Royal Wedding, travelling hundreds or thousands of miles to get here. We just have to get on the tube and many of us won’t even do that.

And the same holds true with our galleries and museums. Been to the National Portrait, Royal Academy of Arts or the V & A lately? And what about going to Somerset House for the Sony Photography Awards?

Brilliant things are on at all of these places that you’re missing out on. But if you at least get the Tate membership you’ll be able to see the Miro, Picasso, Hirst and all the other upcoming exhibitions for free.

And just in case you think the membership is too expensive, you’re in for a surprise.

Tickets to the Miro exhibition are almost £30 for two people and I’m sure the Picasso and Hirst will be about the same. You’re going to be looking at the best part of £90. The Tate membership for two is £77.

But perhaps most importantly of all. When you have the membership, you don’t have to rush around the exhibitions trying to see everything in one day. With membership you can go back again and again for free.

I don’t think I need to say more. For all the membership details click Tate Membership.

Thanks for your time.
