Raining in London, what’s a person to do – Part 3

by Chris P on 10/08/2010

bloomsbury bowling when it's rainingIt’s pouring with rain what can you do

The museums are packed and attractions with outside queues.

The day wasn’t meant to be like this

Where’s the summer gone, the lazy days of bliss.

When it rains in London if you don’t know what to do

Don’t run around like a headless tourist without a clue

Here’s some advice, simple but true

It will make your day fun and memorable too.

We’ve mentioned the O2 but I’ll say it again

Because it’s a place you can go to again and again.

But if you want to stay strictly central London bound

Head to Bloomsbury Bowling it’s right here in town.

Now I know what you’re thinking so did I

But Rainbowsurfer did a post and the place is fly

It’s ultra busy in the evenings and off the hook

So don’t think you can just turn up, you need to book.

But during the day, if it’s raining outside

This is the place you can go to just kick back and slide

The balls down the lane

Staying nice and dry and away from the rain.

For somewhere different to go when it’s raining during the day or evening in London try the Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes. It’s located in the basement of the Tavistock Hotel, Bedford Way, WC1. It’s only about 5 minutes from Russell Square tube station.
