We don’t usually write about events a long way off because chances are you’ll forget about the event and miss it, so we tell you about things to do that are happening in a day or so.
But Waterstones in Piccadilly have so many excellent things coming up in September that if we don’t tell you about them now so that you can book your place it will all be too late.
This month they had some very good events that were sold out so quickly that we didn’t get a chance to tell you, so seriously if you think you’re going to want to go to any of these events book now because they will sell out.
Here are the people who will be doing instore signings or demonstrations in September –
Terry Pratchett is doing a special midnight signing on the 1st.
Tony Blair, yes the ex PM is there on the 8th.
John Le Carre will be showing up on the 16th.
Madhur Jaffrey is doing a cookery demonstration on the 16th and these cookery demonstrations always sell out.
Michael Caine will be there on the 30th.
This has to be the best line up I have ever seen them have in one month and a nice opportunity to see some very interesting people.
