The Barbican Family Film club is very popular

The Family Film Club on a Saturday morning at the Barbican has become ridiculously popular now and if you’ve got kids and never heard of it, that’s because other parents don’t want you to know.

If you are here on vacation and you want to treat your kids to something different and keep them from getting bored after doing the usual sightseeing, this highly recommended.

We’ve written about the Family Film Club and the Special Workshop activities that they hold on the last Saturday of the month loads of times before. And if you have kids this is definitely something you should take them to because they will love it.

I think what has made this so popular is how well it is run and the variety of interesting activities that they put on themed to the film that is showing.

There are also workshop activities for kids

However the problem you face now is trying to get tickets to one of the Special Workshops. In the past if you booked say 3 weeks before the event there was a good chance you would get tickets, but now you can forget that. For instance the workshop on the 25th of September is already sold.

As we see it there’s not much point in us telling you about these workshop events anymore because by time we tell you, it will be sold out. So our advice is to sign up now to become a member of the film club whilst it’s still free to do so.

I’m sure that it won’t be long before they start to charge for the membership so get in now and then at least you’ll get advance warning on what’s coming up.

This is easily one of the best activities for kids in London and the Barbican is a great venue that most people forget about. Honestly I wouldn’t recommend this so highly if it wasn’t this good. Here is the link so that you can get the free membership. Family Film Club membership.

Have you got any other suggestions of things for kids to do on a Saturday morning?
