The Barbican Family Film club is very popular

The Barbican Family Film club every Saturday morning is very popular. However once a month they have a Saturday Special workshop event that’s so popular you need to book it now.

I’m not kidding, about half the tickets have already been sold and the event’s not on until the end of the month.

That tells you how highly parents value this activity and it’s like this every month.

I think the reason these events sell out so quickly is very simple. The Barbican knows how to look after families and more importantly they know how to keep the kids entertained so that they don’t get bored.

You see on these special Saturdays, the kids aren’t just seeing a film. The workshop takes the theme of the film and bases activities around it.

The kids get the chance to make and learn things about the film with the help of the supervisors and of course you. It’s all done in a child friendly atmosphere and makes for a special day for the kids.

The theme this month is April Showers and the workshop is based around creating your own sea creature. The film is Ponyo and is on Saturday 24th at 10am.

As I said earlier, if you want to go along to this activity book now, some of the best seats have already been sold. Tickets are just £5 each and it will be one of the most enjoyable 2 or so hours you will spend in London with your kids on a Saturday.

So many people do the same old sightseeing things when they come to London with kids. This Barbican film club offers something different and interesting. To me if you’re looking for events in London for kids you can’t go wrong with this.

Also so that you don’t miss out on other things to do in London keep reading our blog.

Thanks for your time.
