What are you going to do with the kids in London at Easter?

easter bunny in london, easter things to do in london

Follow the Easter Bunny and have a nice Easter

I love the smell of chocolate in the morning

But this ain’t Vietnam, it’s London calling.

What offensive will you and the chocoholics do

Maybe you’ll storm Harrods looking for Easter Egg clues.

If you do you’ll be wasting your time

Harrods aren’t doing anything special this time round.

So what Front will you open up next

Harvey Nics would be my guess.

But once again you’ll find nothing there

The Harvey Nics Easter event is a poor affair.

Maybe you need to try something new

Would the Handel House Museum be too stuffy for you?

Never heard of it, well it’s a beautiful house

Dedicated to George Handel of course.

Well for one day only, this Sunday I hear

There’s an Easter Egg trail and live music there.

But this event is a for a certain type of person

Because the music is a continuous Harpsichord session.

Fine for some and different for the kids

If it’s for you it’s £5 entry and you get free eggs.

If however you want something with more of a thrill

Then my favourite store Selfridges fits the bill.

They’ve got Easter Egg hunting and face painting to do

And I’m sure the Easter bunny will pop round to.

You know all kids love this type of event

Which is why they’re holding it in the Kids Department.

It’s free to take part and on from 12 – 5

And after that chocolate will be the last thing on your mind.

There are so many things to do in London at Easter with kids. I’ve mentioned the Handel House Museum and Selfridges because they offer you something different. If you’ve got any other suggestions for Easter events in London for kids, drop me a comment.
