This V & A Museum Late is a good way to spend an evening in London

by Chris P on 23/03/2010

v and a museum, lates at the v & a

This is the best Late the V & A have had for months

Some people will have you believe

The Lates at museums are the months’ highlight.

When in fact the reverse is true

A lot of the Lates are absolutely dreadful.

What can you mean, that isn’t so

I went to the Late at the London Transport Museum

And granted it was slow.

But now I know all about travel in suburbia, don’t you know.

If that’s your best defence against my claim

I’ve won before we even start this game.

Next you’ll be telling me zone 4′s in London

Even though it doesn’t begin with 0207.

Suburbia for heaven’s sake

Get a grip man before it’s too late.

Married with 2 kids and a Volvo for a car

I hope the razor blades and bath aren’t far.

Ok, Ok what about the V & A.

STOP right there, you know I can get a gun

I’ll put you out of your misery

If that’s what you consider fun.

No here me out, you’ve got it wrong

This month the V & A have got it going on.

I know they’re usually quite poor

But this month they’ve got games to play and much more.

They’ve got a huge pass the parcel

And some sort of secret agent thing.

There are puzzles and riddles

And even something to do with dancing.

That alone would be good enough reason to go

But the highlight has got to be the virtual penalty spot show.

It’s like you’re a character in the machine

Trying to score a penalty for your virtual team.

Ok you might be right, that doesn’t sound bad.

For a moment there I thought you were going mad.

If it’s as good as you say

It will be a nice way to end the day.

This Late at the V & A Museum sounds like a good way to spend an evening in London. It’s free to attend and starts at 6.30pm on Friday 26th. Click V & A Late for full details of what is on.
