Lots of fun for kids in London at the Barbican Centre
Some of the best activities in London for kids go un-noticed by the majority of Londoners and most tourists who come to London with kids don’t even know about them.
The Barbican Family Film Club is such an activity.
Everyone knows about the museums and other London attractions and consequently on Saturdays these places are busy and not that relaxing for kids or parents.
These Barbican activities on the other hand are much more fun for the kids and peaceful for parents.
I’m telling you about the film activity the Barbican are holding on Saturday 27th nice and early so that you can book it right now and give your kids a memorable Saturday morning. If you don’t book it now believe me it will get booked out.
Why I’m mentioning this activity in particular is that it’s part of their Saturday special workshops.
These workshops are fantastic they take a theme, which this month is Words into Pictures and have fun and educational activities based around that theme.
The kids get the chance to make and learn things about the film and that theme. It’s all done in a child friendly atmosphere that makes the kids feel special.
But what I also like about the way the Barbican has set this up is that they haven’t forgotten the parents, newspaper and coffee is provided so that you can relax while the kids get on with it.
The film on the 27th is Ballet Shoes and the workshop is centred on dance and is a perfect treat for any little girls.
As I said if you want to do this activity book now, some of the best seats have already been sold. Tickets are just £5 each and it will be one of the most enjoyable 2 or so hours you will spend in London on a Saturday.
