Kids event at the National Geographic store on Regent Street

kids event london, what's on in london, owl

Your kids should enjoy this event

What is it with Valentine’s Day that makes so many people go away.

Away from their senses is what I mean

Can you believe I’ve been left here to swim upstream?

The other guys have flown the roost and left me to do all the posts.

I said that’s not fair,

They said what can we do, if you had a girlfriend, you’d get the day off too.

Young free and single shouldn’t be a crime

If they want to be hitched, in tow, shackled

It’s their fault not mine.

Yet here I am the one in front of the screen

Having to write about events I’ve no intention of seeing.

So bear with me for the next few days

As they get jiggy with it in all kinds of ways.

So eyes down, looking for a score

’cause that’s what it’s going to take to stop me running out of the door.

This event’s for Mum and Dad

Especially if your kids are animal mad

And if it’s birds that they really adore

You got to get to the National Geographic store.

Yes them again and to some, me included,

It might seem time to start snoring.

But try telling that to Norm

He seems to have got some kind of religious calling.

He wanted me to tell you this event was soon.

Well it’s on Sunday at half past noon

He wanted me to say this event would be good

Well I think I’ve done that, unless I’ve been misunderstood.

Here’s the link to this kids event at the National Geographic store on Regent Street on Sunday 14th at 12.30.
