In London with kids, what you gonna do

by Chris P on 03/02/2010

london for kids, london activities for kids

The Southbank Centre saves you again

This one’s for parents, both near and far

Who’ve come to London with kids in tow

But haven’t got a clue where to go.

Yes there are the attractions and museums too

But “we’re bored, take us somewhere new.”

We don’t claim to be the 3 wise men

But we do know a place or two

To stop the verbal abuse you’re going through.

We could mention the Barbican

The Unicorn Theatre makes two

But for your personal piece of Shangri La

Only the Southbank Centre will do.

Get this and you can thank me later

There’re putting on a whole month

Of fun, music and laughter.

Some events are free

Which you’ll be grateful for

But ever how you look at it

And whatever they’re charging

You’re off the hook once more!

So many people hear about these events too late

Just like you almost did by unsubscribed mate.

But you’re not the first and you won’t be the last

That’s why we say subscribe to the blog

And get our news super fast.

If you don’t, it could all be such a tragic end

I can see the headline now

Man arrested trying to climb Big Ben.

Why did you do it the reporters cry?

“The kids were getting bored,” comes your faint reply

“I didn’t know what else to try!”

The Imagine festival starts at the Southbank Centre on Saturday 6th. Click Southbank Centre for details.

Oh and don’t forget to subscribe in the top right hand corner :)
