Who’s up for a laugh after such bad weather

The snow is nice when it first comes down

We rush out, roll around in it

And snowmen are all around.

But the weather’s been terrible

With the snow lasting all week.

I’ve been slipping and sliding

Been cold and now I need a treat.

I’m heading out to some comedy

And I suggest you do to.

You may be wondering where to go

So my suggestion this week

Is the Amused Moose in Soho.

I’ve written about it before

And you know I think it’s great

But I do have one moan

You can only get tickets online or over the phone.

So if you’re a visitor this is what to do

And they’ll reserve the tickets for you

Now I’d suggest you do this ASAP

Because the show tomorrow night

Has a special guest, a comedy VIP.

–

They won’t say who but I’m sure it will be great

And with tickets still only £10

It could be a roadblock,

So don’t get there late.

–

To get the best seat you need to get there early

I’d say 7, because the doors open at 7.30.

You’ll then be near the front of the queue

And can pick the best seats.

The ones well away from the comedians view.
