Last chance to see some great photos

Chances are that like me you’ve never heard of David Redfern, the photographer.

Which just goes to show what happens when you haven’t got good PR behind you.

Because just like me I’m sure you’ll recognise some of the iconic photos that are on display that he has taken.

This exhibition at the Royal Albert Hall isn’t big but it’s still worth going to if you like to see some great shots of music legends.

Personally I don’t think the Royal Albert Hall is doing this guy justice by only giving up such a small area for his work. But then again it’s not an exhibition gallery. Hopefully Getty Images, who now own his work, will do a proper exhibition at their Gallery this year.

However rather than wait for that, take this opportunity to see the pictures for free along the ground floor corridor at the Hall.

If you’re not seeing one of the performances at the Hall the only day left when you can see the photos for free is Sunday 31st from 10am – 1pm. If you’re going to see a performance in February, you’ll be able to see the photos up to Wednesday 24th February.

The exhibition is called The Unclosed Eye and click Unclosed Eye exhibition for more details.
