How well do you kow your partner

If you were blindfolded could you detect your partner just by their smell?

I’m giving you the heads up on this evening event in London nice and early, so you can book your place.

This is one of the strangest events I have heard of in a while. I don’t know if it’s going to be packed or what. But if you want to try something completely different and all in the name of science you should give this a go.

From what I can see, you go along with a partner and everyone will be blindfolded and you’ll find out what it is that attracts or repels you from other people.

I have to say it sounds like it could be a lot of fun. I’d like to think that I would be able to detect my partners’ smell, but what if I can’t?

And what about you? Just how well do you know your partner? Could you if blindfolded with a bunch of other people in a room, also blindfolded, tell who your partner was?

The more I write about this, the more intriguing it’s sounding. If you’ve been with someone for a while, you know what it’s like, there are things you discover about them that only an intimate couple can know. But is that just familiarity or is there some kind of chemical reaction that has taken place?

Back to the original question then and I’d love to know what you think. Do you think if you were blindfolded you could detect your partner just by their smell? Have your say below.

The event is free and takes place on 12 February in the evening at the Dana Centre, click here for details.
