This should be a must see event
There are so many things to do in London and one of those things will be to walk along Regent Street.
Everyone does it and I guarantee you’ll do what most people do and walk right past the National Geographic store on Regent Street without giving it a second look. I know this, because I’ve walked past it loads of times and not gone in.
I don’t do that anymore and I urge you not to walk past either. There are so many things going on in there you’ll wonder why no London guide books mention it.
The store is open until 8pm during the week and 9pm on Thursdays, making it a perfect place to go in the evening.
Right now they have a brilliant photo exhibition going on from the Natural History museum called the Wildlife Photographer of the year. The pictures are simply stunning and the stories behind them so interesting. I think this should be on our must see events in London category, but the other guys don’t agree.
That exhibition alone is enough reason to go to the store. But they also have a photo exhibition called Sunsets & Silhouettes and on Tuesday they have a fascinating talk by two explorers, one who is disabled, that is awe-inspiring.
I know I always go on about this. But this is another one of those cases when a venue is holding some brilliant free events and hardly anyone knows about them because of the lack of promotion. Honestly go along to the store for the exhibition, the talk or any of the other things going on, you won’t be disappointed.
