Try ballroom dancing at the Southbank Centre
If you want to dance and can go with a rhythm
Head to the Southbank Centre for a ballroom session.
It’s free to all, beginners are welcome
They’ll be experts, pros and demonstrations.
Now the novices amongst you, there’s no need to be shy
If you get there early, they’ll teach you a step or two on the fly.
The fun starts at noon with an early dance session
Then beginners take to the floor for a half hour dance lesson.
That takes it up to 3pm then everyone joins in
And from previous experience it gets packed to the brim.
But don’t worry the event’s on til 7
And lots of people always drop out, and then it’s ballroom heaven.
With space for you to show off your moves
Or space for you to practice what they taught you.
