Great comedy in a great venue
The comedy club I’m highlighting in December is called Just the Tonic. I think it’s a brilliant name and thankfully it lives up to that name, week in, week out.
Having started in Nottingham and consistanly producing top quality comedy nights there. The club has opened a permanent base in London for us lucky Londoners.
One of the things I like about the club is the venue, there’s nothing wrong with hosting comedy in pubs or basements, they’re intimate and have a sort of underground feel about them.
Well the Just the Tonic venue couldn’t be further from that. It doesn’t look like much from the outside; it’s a small theatre just off Leicester Square. However when you get in, it’s what a new theatre should be like, comfortable, with good views and reasonable bar prices.
I think the venue’s still off the radar, which is why prices are only £12.50. The shows are on Fridays and Saturdays with four comedians, starting at 9.30. If you want to see good comedy in nice surroundings and do not want to pay a fortune. give this club a go.
