Jonny Woo, the Queen of Drag
You could be mistaken for thinking the Selfridges store was also an event venue with the amount of events they’re holding in December.
Chris has already said he’s taking the afternoons off for the lingerie events starting on Saturday 19th. With a title like XXXmas, there’ll probably be more men than women watching.
But back to this week, I’ve never heard of this guy Jonny Woo who’s supposed to be some superstar drag queen. Well he’ll be performing every Thursday and Friday at Selfridges doing some kind of drag/comic version of various pantomimes, on stilts.
It’s not really my thing but it’s certainly different and if you’re up for something that’s bound to be full of laughs, head down there between 6pm – 9pm on Thursday or Friday.
I don’t know if a lot of visitors to London will get the humour, for instance, Selfridges are making a thing about all his performances happening in Widow Twankey’s Cafe. Shock horror. No what I think will be the shock are the pole dancers at the XXXmas events.
