This premiere will cause a road block in Leicester Square
What’s going on with the film premieres this week. Three of them are out and they’re all in Leicester Square. I don’t know how they’re going to handle the crowds, what with the funfair and the fact that these premieres will be very popular. Someone’s screwed up, they just don’t know it yet.
So if you like seeing the stars up close this is the perfect week for you. They often stop to sign a few autographs before doing the red carpet dance, but you’ll need to be right at the front. If that’s where you want to be get to these premieres early and by early I’m talking midday!
Anyhow the first premiere, Did you hear about the Morgans? is on Tuesday 8th. Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker star and I know there’ll be loads of fans to see both of them.
Next up is the St Trinian’s sequel on Wednesday 9th. Now on the face of it this looks like a small film, the first one did ok but nothing special. But let me tell you, any film with David Tennant in, is going to have a massive amount of fans turning up to the premiere.
Out of all the premieres out this week, this is the one that will be the road block and make Leicester Square stop moving. There’ll be so many girls and Doctor Who fans it’ll be mad.
I’d normally say get there before midday when a star has such a following. But because they don’t realise how big this will be, they probably won’t put the barriers up early so midday should be fine.
The last premiere of the week, Avatar, is probably the biggest in terms of star quality. It’s on Thursday 10th, but I just don’t see fans rushing the barriers to see Sigourney Weaver and Co. I may be wrong but arrive in the afternoon and you should be fine.
After the stars have gone in you’ll be dying for something to eat. This is where it’s good to have the EPok London Pack because we have discounts at various restaurants that you’d be able to dive into. For more details about the Pack visit epok.com.
