Christmas Pudding race in Covent Garden. They can’t be serious.

You know if this event wasn’t in December but they had something similar in the summer I think I could get the rest of the guys involved. But in winter, there’s no chance.

Get this, you and some mates dress up in fancy dress, balancing a Christmas pudding on a tray and race around an obstacle course while people throw flour and water at you.

I can see how watching the event and maybe even getting the chance to do some of the throwing will be a lot of fun, but taking part in the cold, no way. Yet this is the 29^th race which just goes to prove how crazy Londoners can be.

To watch the madness unfold get to Covent Garden on Saturday 5^th for about 10.30am to get a good view. The race actually starts at 11.30am and with all the stages it doesn’t end until 1.30pm.
