I bet you've never seen a Christmas pudding race
You know if this event wasn’t in December but they had something similar in the summer I think I could get the rest of the guys involved. But in winter, there’s no chance.
Get this, you and some mates dress up in fancy dress, balancing a Christmas pudding on a tray and race around an obstacle course while people throw flour and water at you.
I can see how watching the event and maybe even getting the chance to do some of the throwing will be a lot of fun, but taking part in the cold, no way. Yet this is the 29th race which just goes to prove how crazy Londoners can be.
To watch the madness unfold get to Covent Garden on Saturday 5th for about 10.30am to get a good view. The race actually starts at 11.30am and with all the stages it doesn’t end until 1.30pm.
