Comedy nights in London on a boat that never moves and it’s called a castle.

It's on a boat that doesn't float because it never moves. Is this a joke?

Any visitor to London looking for a comedy night out is spoilt for choice. The hardest part is not finding somewhere where the comedy is good. It’s finding somewhere that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

Well The Tattershall Castle fits the bill perfectly. And no it’s not a castle it’s a pub boat permanently moored on the Victoria Embankment. If you’ve been in London before you’ll have noticed the pubs have strange names that have nothing to do with being a pub.

But that’s by the by, fact is the comedy at the Tattershall is top-notch. They normal have 4 very good comedians and apparently sometimes a famous comic will put in an unannounced show. I’ve never seen it but that’s what they say.

Atmosphere wise it’s nice and friendly and although the entry price is very reasonable at £12.50 for a Friday and Saturday. The price of drinks is a bit steep, which I suppose is because they know there’s nowhere else close by to get a drink.

The other thing that I’m sure some people like is that after the comedy, they crank up the music and the place becomes a bit of a night club. But don’t go there for that because it’s not that fantastic. Comedy is what they do well, go for that and you won’t go wrong.

You’ll have a good idea of what you want to do and see when you come to London. But by getting our EPok London Pack you’ll get ideas of things you never knew were happening. For details about the Pack visit epok.com.
