When the Christmas tree arrives at Trafalgar Square in December, for me this signals the start of Christmas in London. The turning on of the lights and the quality of the lights isn’t anything special, this year being an exception and does nothing for me. But once the Tree’s there in the Square and you have the Carols being sung, you know Christmas is round the corner.
This year the tree arrives on Thursday 3rd and the lights are turned on from 6pm. There’ll be the usual speeches and carols sung and it’s sure to be a lovely occasion.
Also if you feel like having a sing-a-long to the carols, everyday from Monday 7th to Tuesday 22nd a choir will be in the Square leading the singing. The singing usually starts around 5pm and goes on until 9pm.
You’ll probably want something to eat after this event. With the EPok London Pack you can get discounts and offers at various restaurants in London. To buy the Pack visit epok.com.
