See the Christmas lights turned on in Leadenhall market

The theme for Christmas in London this year has been Dickens’ London, hence why the Christmas Carol extravaganza earlier in the month. If you missed that, head to Leadenhall Market on Friday 20th for a real taste of olde London at Christmas.

Leadenhall is a beautiful space and with the lights it will be magical. With the cobbled stones and close knit buildings and alleys you get a feel for how the market must have been.

Well on Friday the Lord Mayor will be turning on the Christmas lights in the market and with a jazz band, mulled wine and mince pies on offer, the event is bound to be a lot of fun.

The market area isn’t that big and from what I hear they’re limiting numbers into the area where the music and food/drink will be. To be part of this quaint event get there at about 4pm, as the event starts at 5pm and ends at 9pm.

To know about events like this you need to have the EPok London Pack. Guidebooks don’t mention it and neither do most online travel sites. Visit epok.com so that you don’t miss events when you’re here.
