What’s on in London this week – Steve Redgrave book signing

You don’t have to be British to be an admirer of Steve Redgrave. Anyone who’s interested in sport knows what an amazing feat he pulled off. Well on Tuesday 20^th at the Waterstone’s bookstore in Leadenhall Market and on Thursday 22^nd at the Waterstone’s book store at Canary Wharf he will be signing copies of his latest book. Both events start at 12.30 and end at 1.30pm.

I’ve been to the Waterstone’s in Leadenhall Market when a big name sports star is doing a signing and I tell you, forget about just showing up at 12.30 and think you’re going to get in. In fact get there for 11.30am and you’ll still be cutting it fine.

As for the Canary Wharf branch I’ve never been but I’m sure with all the office workers there the story will be the same. With stars like this you have to be there early to be sure you’ll get to see the person and get that signature.
