things to do in london, chill out southbank

Chill out at the Southbank Centre on Friday's

In my opinion the Southbank Centre is easily one of the best venues in London and while you’re in town it has to be somewhere you should go. There’s always something going on and there’s bound to be something that you like.

The only problem as I see it is the venue is so popular you might not get tickets to certain shows and for the free events you’ll have to get there early to get a good spot.

This Friday 16th is a perfect case in point. The Friday tonic music set that they have each Friday has been known to be packed when they have someone good on and I’m sure that’s going to happen this Friday.

Unless you’re into jazz you won’t have heard of Omer Klein or John Crawford, but in London plenty of people have. Well on Friday they’re doing a back to back concert for free at the Southbank Centre, do yourself a favour and go along for some great piano jazz. It will blow you away. In fact even if you’re not into jazz go along, grab a beer and just chill out and enjoy.

The first set kicks off at 5.30pm in the Front Room in the Queen Elizabeth Hall and the second set starts at 7.45pm.

The EPok London Pack lets you know about events going on while you’re in London plus it gives you money off discounts at various restaurants. For more details visit epok.com.
