Nigel Kennedy performs at the Tower Festival
The Tower of London music and arts festival kicks off on Thursday 10th with Nigel Kennedy. Opening with our Nige was a clever move by the organisers as he appeals to a cross section of the public, which I don’t think the other performers do.
I was also impressed with the cost of tickets, to see such a great musician playing live for a top price of only £45 shows they are making this open to everyone. I know if you’re here on vacation you might think that’s expensive, but believe me it’s a bargain.
The show will consist of classic numbers from Bach etc as well as jazz standards from Duke Ellington, all done in Kennedy’s unique style. Doors, I think they could have said drawbridge, opens at 6pm and the show starts at 7.30pm. One thing to remember, this is an open air event so take something warm for later on.
