Try Japanese cooking from a master
Most people reading this title will skip right pass, because unless you’re English, an expat or from Japan, you’re not going to know what the fuss is about these book signings.
For those in the know this is a great chance to see one of Englands most popular and successful cricketers. Since retiring he’s gone to prove he’s an excellent writer and analyser of the game and his book is sure to be a joy. If you want to get a signed copy of his book or just see him, he’ll be at the Leadenhall Market branch of Waterstones on Monday 14th at 12.30 – 1.30. This is in the heart of the City and I’m sure there’ll be a lot of interest so get there early.
Never having been to Japan I have never heard of Harumi Kurihara. But to a Japanese person this is like saying to an American you’ve never heard of Martha Stewart or saying to a Brit who is Delia Smith.
This woman is huge and she’ll be signing her new book at Selfridges on Friday 18th at 1.30pm – 2.30pm.
Finally Nick Hornby will also be at Selfridges signing his latest book on Wednesday 16th at 5.30pm – 6.30. I didn’t really like A Long Way Down and I hope his latest is back to his old form.
