tower of london 2 for 1 offer

London tourists can get 2 for 1 offers at the Tower of London

You know this has been bugging me ever since last week and the foreign exchange currency booth, so I just want to put this out there and see what you think.

Do tourists get ripped off in London more than in other cities?

Here are 3 examples of what can happen to a tourist in London.

As a tourist you’re going to want to see some of the major London attractions. Probably Madame Tussuad, the Tower of London and maybe even London Zoo.

But if you’re planning to see these and other London attractions it’s going to be expensive. But only if you’re a tourist.

What you don’t know is that at certain attractions no Londoner would dream of paying full price. They know that they can get in to some of the major attractions in London and only pay half price and that includes Madame Tussuad, the Tower of London and London Zoo.

Solution: Get the Days Out Guide which lists attractions that have 2 for 1 offers and you can print out a voucher for them.

How would you like it if you went out to a restaurant and the people at the table next to you ordered exactly the same meal as you, but you were given half a plate and they were given a full plate?

That’s never going to happen, I hear you say. And to some extent you’re right. But what could happen is that the people at the table next to you could have a 2 for 1 meal offer. They could have the same meal as you but only pay for one, so isn’t that almost the same thing.

Solution: Get the EPok London Pack, it gives tourists 2 for 1 offers and discounts at restaurants.

It’s a nice day or even night in London and you see one of the many Rickshaws waiting for customers. You jump in and ask to go to wherever. When you get there he says it costs whatever figure he thinks you can pay.

If you’re a tourist it’s going to be a hell of a lot higher than a Londoner. Wait a minute, have I ever seen a Londoner (not on expenses) get a Rickshaw.

Solution: Always ask for a price before you set off and then negotiate that price down. These days there are way more rickshaw riders looking for a fare, than people looking for a rickshaw.

I’m sure other cities have similar problems, what do you think, or is London getting worse?

One other thing, I’ve started a new car repair service for Londoners that helps them not get ripped off by garages. You can find details about it in an article I did called car repairs shake up.

Also if you are coming to London and want to know what the weather’s likely to be, here’s a monthly breakdown. London weather monthly forecast.
