A traffic free day in London

A traffic free day in London

Traffic free days in London do not happen often so when they do you really should rush at the chance to take part and have a free fun day out.

Go to Oxford Street on Saturday 23rd and you’re going to wonder what the hell is going on. Traffic is being banned for the day and it’s going to be one big street party.

There’ll be a 10m high rocket, a 15m dinosaur, an attempt to be the worlds biggest pass the parcel and lots of other events going on in stores and on the street. Regardless of the weather this really is a must go to event. It all starts at 12 noon and the shops will be open until 9pm.

Then the next week it’s the turn of Regent Street. On Sunday 31st  there will be the most fantastic Spanish fiesta going on. There will be so many things going on. There will be dancing horses, music and live performances on a main stage and even a Spanish market selling food and arts and crafts. The event is called the Taste of Spain and starts at 12 noon  – 6pm.

I bet your London guide book doesn’t mention these events. If you don’t want to miss out on events like this get the EPok London Pack for your vacation.

And something to bear in mind the roads won’t be closed all day so if you do drive into London for the event, make sure your car’s in good working order. You don’t want to breakdown in London because it will definitely spoil your day out. Read this article about getting the annual full car service and why it’s so important.
